  • How do I use my seed paper heart and where is it sourced?
The seed paper hearts that I include in every order are handmade, sheet by sheet, in Seattle by a company called Of The Earth! I love including this as a fun freebie as my art takes flowers from the earth and this is a way to return flowers back to it. They are made with 100% post industrial waste and are 100% tree free, acid free fiber. Embedded in the paper is a unique North American seed blend of Snapdragon, Petunia, Beardtongue, Daisy, Thyme, Poppy, Foxglove, Catchfly, Maiden Pinks, and Chamomile. Give the seeds four hours a day of direct sunlight with constant watering until established. Plant flat under 1/4" of soil, keep moist, and watch your flowers grow!

  • How does Afterpay work?
Afterpay is a service that allows you to pay for your order in interest free installments, due every 2 weeks, so you can buy your pieces now and pay later! I'm so excited to be offering this service as I hope it allows for my shop to be more accessible. Some things to know about Afterpay: -At any time you can make a payment before its due date, otherwise it will be autopaid every 2 weeks from the payment method you select with them -Afterpay will show you the amount due for each installment at checkout, before you pay -Are there any fees? Nope! Unless you miss a payments due date, in which case late fees will be due. -After you place your order with Afterpay it will still be sent out to you according to the shipping method you selected at check out. If you have any additional questions feel free to refer to Afterpay's FAQ which you can find here: https://help.afterpay.com/hc/en-us/categories/360001002192-I-M-A-CUSTOMER
  • How do I care for my piece?
Resin Jewelry: Water resistent but not waterproof so avoid direct and prolonged contact with water (ex: bathing or swimming). If dirty, simply wipe with a soft tissue to clean good as new. Finally, avoid dropping as even though the resin is hard, it may get scratched. Crochet: Gently handwash if dirty and generally handle with care. Prints: I reccomend framing but you can also hang on a wall/prop up on a shelf with tape or thumbtacks! If dusty, wipe clean with a dry duster or tissue. Avoid getting wet and handle with care, otherwise photo prints in particular risk getting torn. Incense holders: Same instructions as resin jewelry! However to get any incense stick ash off the surface of the holder you can either blow it off, gently shake upside down, or wipe with a soft tissue.
  • Do you accept custom orders?
I do! Customizable locket slots are opened on a biweekly basis. You can either opt for me to use flowers I have on hand or ship over your own flowers for me to use to create your piece. You are welcome to get as specific as you would like in your requests for the piece and can even opt to leave some or all of the locket as a surprise! They will be listed on the jewelry page as "Custom Lockets" or "Customizable Mystery Lockets". Please feel free to send me an email at greeneisgold@gmail.com if you have any further questions. For a notification when slots are open you can join our email list or follow us on social media.
  • Are your pieces one of a kind?
Yes with the exception of prints! All other pieces are handmade by me. I may create some pieces that are similar (ex: have the same color scheme or same metal components) but there will always be only one of every piece available for purchase.
  • Will the flowers in my jewelry wilt or brown?
Nope! All flowers and plants in my jewelry and dishes have been carefully dried and preserved with protection against UV rays, so they will stay as is. However, I do recommend storing your pieces in a dark place as prolonged exposure to sunlight may eventually yellow the resin a little (but you can still wear your piece in sunlight!)
